We’ve seen a race something like this before, but truth be told, that last drag race really wasn’t so much a race as it was a road slaughtering. This time however, the Nissan GT-R was armed and ready for battle against the Bugatti Veyron.

A Russian media site that calls itself Dragtimes.info prepared this race featuring the GT-R taking on the Veyron out on the streets of the Motherland. While it may seem like a mismatch on paper, this particular GT-R has been heavily-tuned to compete against the fastest and most powerful supercars in the world like, for instance, this Bugatti Veyron.

The Veyron clearly still has the legs over this tuned-up GT-R, but unlike their previous tilt, this GT-R clearly held its own, given the circumstances, against the Veyron.
