This week we present you the beautiful Camperdown house.
The Camperdown house is a project by Carter Williamson Architects, a firm which believes that architecture should make our lives better. The Camperdown house clients wanted their new home to capture something of the wistful adage “a man’s home is his castle”. On a tight budget, within a restricted, urban site the clients commissioned a refuge; a stronghold of family life and quiet living. The tight budget, and a brief that necessitated robust materials, stimulated a rich dialogue resulting in the creative use of strong, inexpensive materials and simple yet elegant construction details. The spaces, like the materials in this home are efficient.
This house is beautiful and also looks very cozy, looks as a perfect place for a family on a tight budget. The wide spaces, the color and materials combination, everything was really well planed and executed. Certainly a house I wouldn't mind living. ;)
Check out Carter Williamson Architects website for further details about this and other projects. See you next time.
We found this house at Contemporist.
