This week we present you the beautiful Bahia house.
The Bahia House is a project by StudioMK27 - Marcio Kogan, a studio founded in 1980 by Marcio Kogan that today counts with more than 14 architects. The studio is recognized internationally and received several awards for its modern projects. The Bahia house is located in a Brazilian paradise - Salvador, Bahia - and it's a modern and intelligent structure that consider the local tropical weather to build something cool and airy. The open spaces, the wooden panels, the materials and the house distribution are projected to allow the wind to keep the house ventilated and also naturally illuminated.
I live in Brazil but I never been to Salvador... after this house I really think it's time for me to go there. ;) This place is incredible. It's open, beautiful, well distributed, has great material combinations and a nice garden. Certainly another house I would live in.
Check out StudioMK27 - Marcio Kogan website for further details about this and other projects. See you next time. :)
We found this house at ArchDaily.
