This week, we present you the elegant Lake Forest Park.
The Lake Forest Park is a project by Finne Architects. Raised in Norway and the United States, Nils Finne established FINNE Architects in Seattle in 1994, bringing a Scandinavian understanding of craft and landscape to the Pacific Northwest. Dedicated to the idea of Crafted Modernism, Nils typically designs custom lighting, furniture, cabinets and hardware for every project. This project is actually a renovation of a 1950?s Northwest Contemporary house in Seattle. The idea was to keep the original simplicity and clarity of the house, so they used a palette of new materials to create a nice mix of texture and color. And besides the amazing look, the house counts with sustainable design - green materials and radiant heating under terrazzo flooring has created a heat source with maximum energy efficiency.
This house is really elegant and beautiful. The materials match perfectly, creating a cozy house with inspiring views and interiors. For sure another architectural master piece!
Check out Finne Architects website for further details about their projects. See you next time. :)
We found this house at Comtemporist.
