The office BCHO Architects was founded in 1993 in Seoul in Korea by renowned architect ByoungSoo Cho, a professor in several colleges and awarded several times. It has a degree in architecture from Montana State University and receives the master's in architecture and urban design from Harvard University. Currently the office has a lot of national and international awards and was selected as one of 11 Firms Design Vanguard (Vanguard Design Firms) by Architectural Record in 2004.

The office began with the focus on the project with simple structures and strong respect for the nature. Since 1998 the focus of practice was extended to architecture and furniture. What we see in BCHO Architects projects, is the ease in making architecture a sensational result to look and live. Always present are the spaces created by connecting the internal architecture of the new places, new scenes, taking advantage of natural light and the site, as well as characteristics of the materials used.
