The House in Ubatuba is a project by SPBR, an office managed by Angelo Bucci, located in São Paulo, Brazil. The Ubatuba house is a 55m x 16m ground plot, located at Tenório’s Beach - Ubatuba, São Paulo. The plot goes up the hill from the beach in a 50% slope hill, only reaching street level at 28 meters. The hard steep hill and its trees are both protected by environmental laws. Three columns, made in reinforced concrete, support the house. Four steel beams lay on the top of them in order to hang the slabs from above and also to avoid the use of support frames during the construction process, making it faster and more rational.
Well, once again I believe I don't need to say much, images speak for themselves. This house has amazing angles, materials and forms. I simply loved this wood - glass - concrete mix, gives the house a modern and interesting look. The place seem integrated with its surroundings and the views are really awesome. For sure another place I would live in.
Check out SPBR website for further details about their projects. See you next time. :)
We found this house at archdaily.
