Design Element: Skulls

Was recently going through my Facebook profile, where I noticed one of my friends Display Picture of a skull, saying "Silence, I kill you". Skulls have been a huge element in design, from grunge websites, t-shirt designs, and posters. Trends come and go web 2.0 is here not to stay, but skulls have been around forever they aren’t the main point in most designs, but they add subtle design points to give a better overall design.
